We raise Mulefoot/Berkshire crosses, heritage-breed pigs that thrive in a natural environment. Our pigs reside in the forest, enjoying plentiful fresh air, sunlight, mud, and the joy of digging up roots. Their natural habitat provides an abundance of acorns. They also indulge in the “extras” from our apple trees and garden. With access to a 3-sided shelter, they are free to come and go as they please. Many times they opt to sleep under the stars rather than in their shelter.
Their meat is well-marbled, darker in color, and much richer in flavor than typical grocery-store pork. Our goal is to raise high-quality meat while providing the animals with the best, most natural life we can.
Our USDA-inspected pork is sold as a full hog, half hog, or 20-Pound Heritage Pork Pack.
Our 20-Pound Heritage Pork Pack is a curated selection of premium pork cuts priced at $180. About half the contents will be a mix of bacon, sausage, and ground pork. The other half will be assorted chops, ribs, and roast(s). Below, you’ll find the approximate weights of the individual vacuum-sealed packages that could be included in your pack. The actual distribution of cuts is based on availability.
This product is perfect for the family with limited freezer space, or the smaller family that doesn’t need as much. The 20 Pound Heritage Pork Pack is a great way to experience locally raised heritage pork without the commitment of a whole pork share.
